1323pm 15 March

AINEO's management team, upon consultation with the local management teams of our partners, have decided to send our teams home from sites and postpone any new installations for the day. The decision was made due to the uncertainties in the elected government's information, and the explosions at the nuclear reactors in Fukushima.

Thank you for your understanding as we want to protect the health and welfare of the Tokyo team. We are monitoring the situation and will continue to update our website.

Sincerely,
The AINEO Networks Tokyo Team

Corporate teams may continue to be affected by train delays caused by scheduled black outs. This may bring people late into the office as train lines are not running at 100%.

The ground continues to shake and they are battling a nuclear power plant cool down issue in the North. We have checked with specialist in the power industry outside Japan as well as counseled with the management of several partner sites. We think this is something blown out of proportion by the news and there is no need to evacuate Tokyo. More information here. Please let us know if you insights in this area.

AINEO team was able to arrive safely, deliver service, and depart from all sites on Monday (14 March). We will continue to operate normally on Tuesday 15 March.

With the current tragedy in Japan due to the earthquakes and following Tsunami's, there is a lot of concern about the nuclear plants overheating. With a media that is clearly anti-nuclear, and a government trying to cope one may not be sure what to believe. The best judgment of any situation is understanding. Below is an article explaining how the nuclear situation probably transpired and how it affects us. The short of it, don't worry about getting radiated if you are in Tokyo. Read more...

14 March 1240pm

Our technical teams have been able to reach all sites and are providing support. Unfortunately, the employees at our partner sites have not all been able to make it in due to transportation route suspensions of rail and subway lines.

We are working to enable remote access for those people needing access to company services such as file servers. Most have access to webmail, however telephone network issues continue to slow down communications.

Tepco Suspends Planned Blackouts Again
TOKYO (NQN)--Tokyo Electric Power Co. (9501) said Monday morning it will temporarily suspend plans to ration power for the second group of localities scheduled to undergo temporary outages. That group includes Tokyo's Musashino City.

The utility already suspended plans to carry out rolling blackouts for the first group of localities slated to undergo outages.

Tepco said it would base its decision on whether to carry out blackouts based on the power supply-demand balance.

As many may already know, we have experienced terrible natural disaster on Friday 11 March at 1446pm in Tokyo, Japan. We have experienced a major earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9. We continue to have both earthquakes and aftershocks 3 days after the big earthquake.

AINEO Tokyo is contacting all partner clients as well as their international offices to plan for potential black outs and other complications caused by the earthquake and nuclear power plants.

AINEO partners, please monitor this website or feel free to call our emergency number if you need any help.

Thank you,

Our hearts go out to those who have lost their lives in the tragic 8.8 magnitude Tokyo earthquake today.

We are thankful that all our partners and the AINEO team are well and accounted for.

We are also pleased that both data center locations are active with no disruption of service. Our internal telephone services also had no outages helping us to communicate between Tokyo and remote sites.

This may be a challenge for Japan, but we hope that some good things can come out of this horrible act of nature.

AINEO is very keen on putting back into society. We give a percentage of our revenue back into the community. Furthermore, our members do volunteer work as well. We have people volunteers teaching at city halls to get Japanese thinking more global and doing a lot of other little things that count. We are proud of our team.

AINEO has proudly just sponsored the Boy Scouts of America here in North Asia at their 2010 Gala event. The world needs leaders politically, in business, as well as strong families. The Boy Scouts are just one way to ensure solid leadership into our future.

AINEO has been known for being Japan's top engineering firm for Avaya and Nortel products. With the move of PBX telephone systems to IPT (Internet Protocol Telephony), AINEO has been installing systems from Cisco Systems. In October, the AINEO team got certified on the "Cisco Express Unified Communications" systems.
This adds breath to the systems supported by AINEO (Nortel, Avaya, NEC, ShoreTel, and Cisco).

Dear Partner,

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you over the years. We are
celebrating 13 years of service this year at AINEO.

We have been busy expanding our cloud services, studying and getting
certified on more IT products you use, and expanding our team so that you
will have more people to seamless support you.

We have implemented a new system for tracking requests and issues and have
been testing if for a couple months. From 1 November, we plan to initiate
this service to support your business.

When you send an email to support you will begin to receive a
ticket assignment for your issue. This will allow you to track any request
you have as well as be able to interact with the IT team.
You can directly reply to the email sent from out system, as same as before.
Should you prefer this way, please do not change the title of the email.

We recommend you to create a free account at AINEO Secure Hosting:
https://www.aineosecurehosting.com/whmcs/register.php?language=English.
Once registered, you will be able to track all the tickets you opened.

We have found that email can become somewhat overwhelming for some people,
therefore we are excited that this system will make your job even easier.

Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the system.

Sincerely,
AINEO Support Team
