We recently set up and used the Apple Watch. \u00a0It was a very well designed product, but at this point is probably a bit before it\u2019s time. \u00a0You can read more about that experience here<\/a>.<\/div>

The amazing thing is that as far as smart watches go, we found the Pebble watch start up company very useful in comparison to the mammoth company Apple\u2019s product. Here at AINEO, we tested the Pebble Steel watch after seeing the president of one of our partners wearing one at a reception. Watch a great find.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Pebble is a start up company from the US. \u00a0The founder is very young and has done a good job rolling out the product. \u00a0The original product was funded via kickstarter.com donations and general involvement.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
What are the weaknesses of the Pebble?<\/div>
1) It\u2019s not the beautiful color display like the Apple watch<\/div>
2) Pebble is less ergonomic and shapely<\/div>
3) The two prong USB adapter is a bit ugly but functional<\/div>
4) No speakerphone features on the Pebble Steel model and earlier<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Now that we\u2019ve got the areas for improvement off our chest, let\u2019s head to what we love, the positives. \u00a0For Smart Watches, Pebble is definitely the best option on the market at this point.<\/div>
1) The battery life is 5 to 7 days. \u00a0No need to carry the USB charger around<\/div>
2) The display is always on. \u00a0Like a real watch! \u00a0What\u2019s the point of having a band around your wrist if it doesn\u2019t actually tell the time when you glance at it.<\/div>
3) Pebble is waterproof so you can swim with your smart watch on.<\/div>
4) Pebble is more responsive than the Apple watch. \u00a0You can easily reroute inbound calls via your watch where there seems to be latency with the Apple product.<\/div>
5) If you really want to risk using Android, the units work with Android or iOS devices.<\/div>
6) The products are $200-$250 per unit so very cost efficient<\/div>

There are many more features to discuss when it comes to smart watches. \u00a0If you have questions, please ask your AINEO business development associate. \u00a0We are happy to answer any questions you may have. \u00a0Probably one of the useful features of the Pebble Watch is that we were able to set an buzz\/alarm at the top of the hour during working hours to keep better track of time. \u00a0The Apple Watch didn\u2019t even have the ability to do even this simple setting at this feature.<\/div>
