At AINEO, we’ve been in the phone business since 1997. We rolled out our cloud PBX phone service in 2012 as we got tired of seeing people get overcharged and receive unreliable service from the companies doing internet based phones at the time.
In 2013, we introduced our smartphone application for Google and Apple from one of our suppliers called Mitel. (We originally tested with ShoreTel’s app and it worked well in 2011). However, overall we needed something more robust, so we went to Mitel’s MiCollab app for Android and iOS. The Android App was limited in features, but the Apple iOS app was better but only in English.
At AINEO, we have found the best way to get things done is to do it yourself if you want to keep high standards. So many times we have concluded, “We Can Do It Better” if we do it. We needed Japanese, English and better voice quality management for our iPBX partners.
In October 2015, we began to develop our own apps. With all the variations of Android out there, we had to do four versions for Android smart phones. For iPhone we only had to do one version.
Our DC is constantly monitoring the connectivity for our partners so you will find we’ve got the best app in Japan. In addition, we didn’t stop at Japanese and English. We also added many others! (Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish).
