20 December 2013– Mitel Japan and Mitel Asia Pacific engineers initiated configuration and performance testing to certify SIP trunking for Japan based installation of Mitel Networks products. Testing was initiated at KVH datacenter as well as sites.
Upon completion of testing Mitel engineers gave KVH SIP trunking a passing grade as all feature sets were tested and passed.
With this, Mitel equipment can connect directly to KVH infrastructure without the need for SIP gateways, convertors or any other additional equipment simplifying premise installations as well as giving full-trunk functionality to Mitel customer.
Mr. Wai Khuen Ho, Vice President of Mitel Asia Pacific said, “SIP Trunking is the future of communications in the IP world. AINEO engineers and our engineers were quickly able to certify SIP trunking which brings the robust Mitel feature-set fully into the Japan market giving Japan users full access to Mitel unified communications, mobility, contact center, and cloud services.”
SIP Trunking is available to any Mitel Japan users on KVH Telecom*. For more information, please contact the Mitel Japan team at AINEO Networks.
