We are pleased to announce that the Snom Hospitality Series wireless headsets,HM201 and HM2, have officially obtained Japan’s Technical Conformity Certification (TELEC).
With this certification, both models are now fully compliant with Japanese radio regulations and can be legally and safely used within Japan. This allows them to be confidently deployed across a wide range of environments, including hotels, hospitality facilities, service industries, corporate offices, call centers, and remote or hybrid work settings.
What Is TELEC Certification?
TELEC (Technical Conformity Certification) is a mandatory approval under Japan’s Radio Act, certifying that wireless devices meet the technical standards set by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
Wireless equipment used in Japan must obtain this certification to ensure:
