Deploying cloud services in Japan is straightforward—Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and dozens of virtual server platforms make it easy to roll out apps both locally and globally. But there’s a hidden risk: when a major provider forgets to renew a domain or SSL certificate, or experiences an outage, your business goes down along with everyone else relying on that platform.
In 2016, TRIBE Support at AINEO Networks built CIRCLE Cloud Communications from the ground up. We started in our own offices with our own hardware—continuous 24-hour air-conditioning, dedicated server racks, direct carrier connectivity, and full infrastructure we owned ourselves.
Today, we operate out of larger datacenters across Japan, but the principle remains unchanged: CIRCLE runs our own software on infrastructure we own.
Every time we expand, we purchase additional servers, install them in our own racks, and maintain multiple dedicated connections to Japan’s major communications carriers. We’re built to scale to 1 million users. Nothing in CIRCLE runs on rented virtual services or infrastructure that CIRCLE doesn’t control.
Why does infrastructure ownership matter for a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) or Telco? There are two critical reasons.
1. Service Uptime
CIRCLE is responsible for the entire stack—from endpoint device to datacenter to carrier connectivity to customer devices. This end-to-end control lets us virtually eliminate service disruptions. No service is perfect, but based on system status reports from across Japan, CIRCLE Cloud delivers some of the most reliable uptime in North Asia.
2. Data Privacy
All your interactions, personal data, company information, and other essential business data are stored as first-party data on CIRCLE infrastructure. Nothing runs on third-party services. CIRCLE is GDPR-compliant (European standard) and maintains ISO 27001 certification, along with ongoing security verifications.
When we hear about outages, quality problems, or data breaches at other providers, our team always asks the same question: “If only they were on CIRCLE.”
If you’re not using the cloud today, you need to be. The era of physical equipment in offices is over.
Our Challenge to You
Check your current cloud service provider: Do they operate on their own systems, or are they simply renting space and resources from someone else?
If they don’t own their infrastructure, it’s time to switch. Contact our experienced, responsive, and flexible PS (Professional Services) team to learn how to transition your business to Japan’s only infrastructure-owned cloud service provider: CIRCLE Cloud Communications.
