In Japan, we have four wireless mobile carriers, AU (KDDI), NTT Docomo, Softbank Mobile, and Willcom. If you would like to know the short of it, KDDI is the best overall carrier at this point in terms of reception.

Over the past few months people have commented that they haven’t seen me around much. This time of year many people send out family newsletters, so I thought I would drop a brief note of what I am up to, but more from a business perspective as important changes are happening in the business climate.

When the dot coms began selling back in the 1990s it was an expensive operation. At AINEO, we paid $30-50 dollars a year to purchase each of our domains from (the monopoly called) Network Solutions.

Since early 2008, the media has been pelting everyone world-wide with questions about whether there was a recession or not. Maybe, not enough stories or news to report? Well, we thoroughly believe that champions are champions because of their training. They set their minds to being successful and that is usually what happens.

iPhone works well with AINEO Secure. We are pleased to announce after two weeks of testing that the iPhone works well with the groupware, email, schedule, and collaboration features of AINEO Secure. We do have some comments about the new Apple entry to the wireless market.

We rolled out our AINEO Secure service from 1 June. It has certainly been an adventure. During that time, we have seen the crashes and overloads of messaging systems at Google and Apple. Microsoft has changed their strategy and started a competitive service in the US. What does that mean to AINEO?
